Meet the creators
Rahua
Fabian Lliguin and Anna Ayers
Environmentalist and hairstylist, Fabian Lliguin was inspired to launch Rahua on a trip to the Amazon Rainforest. Anna Ayers, Fabian’s wife, accompanied him and they were struck by its beauty, the warmth of the indigenous people, and the rahua oil the women used on their hair to make it strong. Together, they created the Rahua brand.
Their motive was to preserve and honour cultural rituals and traditional, sustainable ways of life that protect the rainforest and its people. Both Fabian and Anna pledge to never harvest non-regenerative rainforest ingredients. This has allowed them to work alongside the people of the Amazon to gather rainforest grown ingredients only from self-sustained forests. Today, they have preserved 37,500 hectares of pristine and biodiverse tribal lands deep in the Amazon Rainforest.

Erbaviva
Robin Brown and Anna Cirronis
Robin was a successful cinematographer working in New York and L.A., but after getting married and having children with Anna they fell into an organic, health conscious lifestyle. Robin says, “We realised there wasn’t an organic and safe alternative to use on our children’s skin. We felt it was important to offer products that were as clean as what we were using internally for use on the skin, particularly for babies knowing that they have very delicate skin”.
After becoming parents, in 1996, they realised they wanted to create a skincare line with purpose that was truly healthy, organic and trustworthy, so they launched Erbaviva. As environmentalists, Robin and Anna felt it was essential that they had a certified organic facility that was solar powered. They felt a sense of responsibility as a brand to make efforts to reduce their carbon footprint. Known to be ahead of their time, they were leaders in the clean, organic and sustainable beauty industry.
